Sega (1999)

We have so many Zombie games these days but why do none of them have cool character to play as such as Rikiya Busujima, just look at this guy, he follows all the rules of being awesome.

The next best Zombie videogame hero I can think of is The Coach. And no, John Marston doesn't count.

He's looking pretty cool with those sun glasses. And he (just his face actually) reminds me of a character from a Peter David Spider Man comic story. Around the time Peter started wearing the black costume.

I watched the Royal Pudding South Park episode yesterday. And I do wonder, how do Canadians feel about their portrayal in that series? Also, do you actually have a monarchy? I'm ignorant and too lazy to use wikipedia...

From what I gather Canadians find it funny (That being, if they find South Park funny) and like the attention we get in the series. Mostly... I mean some see it as ribbing/teasing; although it's known South Park makes fun of everything. I've never heard Parker or Stone explain exactly why they portray Canada the way they do and so often.

Canada is a "independent" constitutional monarchy in the commonwealth of Great Britain, this means our queen is the Queen of Britain, Elizabeth II. We have a parliamentary system. Of course the Queen's power is only technical as it is in the UK, although the Prime Minister still has to go to the Governor General (Canadian representative of the Monarch) occasionally as they have special veto powers.

That's how I (should have) remembered it... thanks for reminding me. And yeah, since the episode before this one was spoofing Germans I guess we feel the same way. It's kinda hilarious even if it's way off. In the end the stereotypes themselves are ridiculed, not the people they're about.

Well I think South Park is very serious but it also is very absurdist. The two sort of balance each other out... in a sense.

Yeah, they do make their points but exaggerate to insane degrees. But they also take their stories, the continuity of the series and the universe they created quite seriously too. Humor is a tool to tell stories for them, not something done for its own sake.

You bet your ass John Marston counts. Singlehanded saved Texas and the northern part of Mexico from a zombie invasion with just a revolver, a lasso and a horse of the apocalyspe. I have spoken.

What I mean is, Zombie videogame hero. Now because RDR is a western videogame first I DQ'ed John Marston; I mentioned him because if he was to be considered a Zombie videogame hero he would obviously be the best one.

Though my qualifiers hardly matter. XD

Undead Nightmare could have been a stand alone game like Infamous Festival of Blood. True, Red Dead is a western game but I rest my case.

I reconsider it when I get the DLC.

Just to get Undead Nightmare that's 10$, but if you don't have any DLC, the Collection pack is 20$. TO get them all seperately it's 30$, to buy it from the store is 30$.

I think the Game of the Year edition came out a while back in October.

Either I'd get a cheap GOTE or get the DLC pack when it's on sale again.. it was in the summer but the sale ended like 5 minutes before I was ready to buy it. :(

I haven't finished it personally but I know how it ends. So fucking sad. Anyways, I don't have any DLC yet, I've been slowly playing through it. I may finish it sometime in the near future. I didn't get Undead Nightmare because for the longest time I thought it was 30$ and I don't like paying that much for DLC.
